Lukoil FSO 'Yuri Korchagin'

DLT were contracted by Keppel Singmarine to provide engineering, equipment and supervision for the erection of a Bluewater designed Yoke and Pendulum arrangement for the Lukoil FSO 'Yuri Korchagin' which operates in the Caspian Sea. The DLT scope of site work required firstly the upending of the two pendulums to vertical; then the lift and horizontal skid of the entire arrangement into position for welding within a positional tolerance of +/- 0.5 mm. The yoke and pendulum arrangement weighed 1040 tonnes and the vertical lift and height adjustment took just under 2 hours. The installation took place in Azerbaijan in 2009 using 4 no DL-S418 strand jacks.

FPSO mooring pendulum installation, Singapore

DLT were responsible for installation of 2 No 120 tonne mooring pendulums for SMOE in Singapore, using strand jacks to achieve a positional alignment of +/- 0.2mm for installation of 5 tonne pitch pin.
